Podere Morone — Farmhouse Renovation, Montepulciano
Rural farmhouse renovation and interior design in the Montepulciano countryside, Val di Chiana, Tuscany.
Podere Morone is a rural renovation project on the rolling hills above Montepulciano, in the Val di Chiana, Tuscany. Studio Feri Associati carried out a comprehensive renovation of this traditional stone farmhouse, restoring its structural integrity and redesigning its interiors to meet contemporary living standards while preserving the authentic rural character that defines this corner of the Sienese countryside.
The Project
The intervention respected the existing architecture of the farmhouse while introducing a carefully considered series of improvements — from structural consolidation to the renewal of all systems, interiors and outdoor spaces. The design approach, consistent with Studio Feri Associati's wider philosophy, drew on local materials and craftsmanship to create a result that feels genuinely rooted in the Tuscan landscape.
