Osteria Foro is a restaurant interior design project located in the historic centre of Civitella in Val di Chiana, Arezzo Province, Tuscany. Studio Feri Associati was commissioned to design and oversee the complete interior renovation of this new dining venue — creating a space that draws on the warmth and character of the local built heritage while delivering a refined, contemporary hospitality experience.

The Project

The intervention worked with the existing historic fabric of the building — stone walls, brick arches and original floor structures — integrating them into a coherent contemporary interior. The design creates a layered atmosphere of warmth and authenticity, where the character of the historic space is respected and amplified by thoughtful material and lighting choices. Every detail, from the seating layout to the bar and service areas, was designed to support both the operational needs of the restaurant and the quality of the guest experience.
