Podere Spigolio Historic Farmhouse Interior Design — Tuscany

Interior design and restoration of a historic stone farmhouse, Siena Province, Tuscany.

This project is a complete interior design commission for a historic farmhouse in the Siena Province of Tuscany. Studio Feri Associati was engaged to bring the farmhouse's interiors to the highest aesthetic and comfort standards, working with the existing architecture to create spaces that are both contemporary and deeply rooted in Tuscan rural tradition.

The Project

Every room was treated as a dialogue between the original building fabric — stone walls, brick vaults, timber beams — and a curated selection of contemporary materials, furnishings and lighting. The result is an interior that feels authentic and unforced, where old and new coexist with natural ease. Studio Feri Associati oversaw every aspect of the design from initial concept through to final installation.

Finishes and Materials
Traditional Tuscan materials — handmade terracotta, lime plaster, local stone and seasoned wood — were reinterpreted with a contemporary sensibility. Bespoke furniture was designed and produced in collaboration with selected local artisans to ensure a result of singular quality and character.

A Single Point of Contact
