Farmhouse L'Aione — Rural Restoration, Scansano, Maremma

Agriturismo renovation and interior design in Scansano, Maremma Tuscany.

Farmhouse L'Aione is a rural restoration and agriturismo conversion project in Scansano, at the heart of the Maremma Grossetana. Studio Feri Associati was commissioned to renovate the farmhouse complex and design its interior spaces as a high-quality agriturismo — creating a collection of individually named guest suites and communal spaces that express the distinctive character of the Maremma landscape.

The Project

The project involved the full restoration of the farmhouse complex, including the creation of four individually designed guest suites — Anice, Aneto, Aloe and Alloro — each with its own atmosphere while maintaining a coherent material and aesthetic language throughout. Communal spaces, including the reception, veranda and outdoor terraces, were designed to create a welcoming and atmospheric hospitality experience rooted in the beauty of the Maremma hills.
