CASA Mi.Lo

Renovation project of a late-1960s apartment. The era’s typical layout—defined by corridors and small, fragmented rooms—has been reimagined into a generous open-plan living area, where a floor-to-ceiling bookcase serves as a dramatic architectural backdrop. The custom wooden kitchen and island were designed bespoke by the architects, while a curved wall enhances the sense of spatial continuity between the dining and cooking areas. Every function occupies its own defined space while maintaining visual connection with the rest of the home. In the master bedroom, a built-in wardrobe functions as both a room divider and a headboard, allowing the bed to face outward toward the valley views.
